We use and support free and open source software like Firefox as web browser, Thunderbird as e-mail client, LibreOffice (former OpenOffice) for paperwork, lx-office for accounting, materials management and customer relationship management, Joomla for creating websites, VirtueMart for webshops, CiviCRM as Internet solution for non-profit organisations, IPCop and PfSense as firewall and router software, FreeNAS for backup systems as well as the Linux Terminal Server Projekt (LTSP) for computer networks with minimum need for configuration and very low hardware costs.
We provide advice and support to you or your company in total, partial or stepwise switch to Linux or open source products, including backup of your old system, data transfer, documentation and personnel training.
In doing so we look for an opensource solution that is tailored exactly to your needs. If a solution corresponding to some of your desired functions doesn't exist yet, we present a customized development offer for you.
We have our own web and mail server in the Init7 data centre in Zürich-Albisrieden. On this server we offer you custom made solutions, from "simple" Webhosting to a complete "all-in-one solution" of all web based services requested by you.
revamp-it offers regular Workshops about various topics around Linux and open source software.
