slot for charging batteries separately from the communicator. This is

Nokia DCH-7 Desktop Stand provides convenient charging in an upright position on your desk. A spare battery can be charged simultaneously. Use the travel charger with the desktop stand. When the communicator is placed in the stand, connection can be made to a computer using the RS-232 Adapter Cable.
