We supply the products you've ordered according the following general business terms:

Agreement

By commissioning a purchase the customer implies consent to these general business terms. All purchases are binding.

Ordering

Purchases are not permitted to be made with a pseudonym. Customers are obligated to truthfully supply their name and address information.

revamp-it reserves the right to suspend a customer's access in the case of refusal of acceptance. In the case of a false address, of if a second delivery must be made, the recipient shall carry the costs of shipping occurred.

Most of our articles are second-hand, exceptions will be explicitly marked as such.

All articles are only consignable as long as they are in stock. If an article should not be available due to a previous sale or a mistaken entry, we will not be able to ship said article. We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time. All offers are non-binding. Erroneous statements and misinformation are reserved.

Terms of Delivery

Orders may be picked up during our business hours or by appointment at Röschibachstrasse 24-26, 8037 Zürich. In this case, no shipping fees will be incurred. If delivery is desired, we will normally ship them with Swiss Post. revamp-it is not liable for goods damaged or lost during delivery (for more details, see damage during delivery). The recipient has no claim to a new shipment for a consignment lost in transit.

Shipping & Handling Fees

All prices stated in the shop are the final prices to be paid by the customer. We do not at the moment charge for value added tax (VAT). Per consignment under 20 CHF in value we add a fee of 5 CHF in addition to the shipping fees. Deliveries will take place, at request, by PostPac Priority, PostPac Economy or Express. For orders up to 30 kg inside Switzerland (PostPac Economy only) valued over 150 CHF, no shipping costs will be charged.

Payment

Full payment in advance (Transfer to our bank account, credit card, PayPal etc.) or cash on pickup. On payment by credit card or PayPal the customer is responsible for transaction fees. revamp-it accept Faircoin, Bitcoin, Talente or "Tauschen am Fluss" hours as alternative payment when buying used hardware.
If payment does not arrive within 7 days of receipt of the invoice without our receiving any communication, revamp-it reserve the right to sell the article in question to somebody else.

Delivery date

We make an effort to deliver the ordered product as quickly as possible after the receipt of payment. Delivery times are non-binding. If the product cannot be sent within 2 working days of receipt of payment, the customer shall be informed per e-mail. The customer shall have the possibility to cancel the order, if it has not already been sent.

Warranty

Since most of the hardware sold is previously used, items bought from us may be of greatly varying quality. Images in our webshop may not be representative of the actual state of the product. General wear and tear is to be expected, especially in a product's visual appearance. We do verify the products for proper functionality, but the state of consumables (Ink cartridges, laptop batteries, etc.) may vary greatly. If there is a certain aspect of the product which you specifically value, please check in with us beforehand so we can review the product for its suitability. You will find more detail in the article description. If an article should not be of the condition described, we will supply a replacement, if possible. If a replacement article cannot be found, a full refund will be paid. Damage during shipping and damage caused by the customer due to improper handling are excluded from the warranty. Complaints must be registered in writing or by e-mail. The article and invoice number must be included alongside the complaint.
In case of a complain, revamp-it may demand the return of the faulty article.

Replacements, Incorrect Shipment, Damage Incurred in Transit

Replacements are, in principle, not possible, except in cases of incorrect shipments caused by us. The liability is, however, limited to a replacement shipment. Claims for a recission of a sale or a reduction of payment are impossible, as long as there exists an opportunity of a replacement shipment. In case of an incorrect shipment, the customer must inform revamp-it within 3 days after receipt of delivery. In case of an incorrect shipment, the faulted product must be returned within 10 days (postmark) to revamp-it. In case of damage to the article during transit, visible exterior damage must be reported in writing by the postal service on receipt. All damage has to be reported to us within 3 days. Compensation in the case of damage or loss in transit is limited to the compensation guaranteed by the postal service - in case of normal parcels 500 CHF at the moment of writing. In case the return does not occur or if we cannot ascertain any faults not caused by the customer, the customer will be responsible for the cost of the replacement shipment.

Reservation of Ownership

The goods remain property of revamp-it until the reception of payment in full.

Disclaimer of Liability

revamp-it precludes any liability for products sold (including downloads) to the extent permissible under law.

Legal Domicile

The legal relationship is under Swiss law. The sole legal domicile for any disputes is Zürich.
